Why join CRRC?

Having been an active club for more than 40 years, you will find that our membership truly represents every aspect of model aviation. From building, to flying, to competing; you will find few clubs that are as diverse and welcoming as CRRC. Our members build and fly:

Three simple steps to join CRRC:

Be an active member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
Print and complete the
CRRC application.
Submit application and fee to our membership secretary.

We have members who:

- Design airfoils and championship worthy planes
- Teach aeronautics at world class engineering schools.
- Compete in ESL, NATS, XFC, and World Scale championships.
- Fly and have buit full scale airplanes.
- Have competed in full scale IAC competition.
- Shoot aerial video and photography.
- Have designed their autonomous RPVs.
- Built their own engines/motors.
- Work with local authorities to maintain our great flying sites.
- Willing to teach any and all of these aspects asking for
noting more than a simple thank you in return.
