The summer is approaching, and tonight is the Winter Projects night. Bring in a show and tell about the projects you have been working on over the winter! That and your current membership card each earn a free raffle ticket.

We also have a guest speaker, Tibor Simon. He will be displaying his Freewing Mig-29 Fulcrum Jet

Club meetings are open to the public, we welcome visitors and guests to learn about model aviation and CRRC!

NOTE THE NON-STANDARD DATE AND LOCATION

Please note that due to events at Goodnow this month, our April club meeting will be held on Tuesday April 16 at 7:30 PM in the Community Room of the McAuliffe Branch of the Framingham Library.

This is only about 5 minutes from Goodnow library.

Our speaker for April will be Tibor Simon. Tibor came to the US from Hungary in 2000, and has started his own painting business called “Rainbow Painting”. (You can find his info on Facebook.) He does indoor and outdoor painting, but his real passion is flying fast! He flies turbine jets, ducted fan jets, as well as 3D aircraft. He will be displaying his Freewing Mig-29 Fulcrum Jet (1/9 scale, 50" wingspan, 74" length) designed for twin 800mm ducted fan motors that was converted to use a single KingTech 55 turbine engine. Tibor worked with John Eppling, who did the initial modifications to fit the turbine, installation of an internal and an external gas tanks, strengthening the elevator assembly, and simplifying the electrical wiring for the electronics in the wings.

We’ll also have a raffle and show & tell, so please join us.
